Hello Pure Portugal Farmers! Today I am here to talk to you about NEW Grant Opportunities (PDR2020)
I receive a LOT of inquiries about grants. More funding has been released into PDR2020, an existing grant program.
These funds seek to support Youth, Low Density Areas and Marketing of Local Agri Products.
There is also support for tourism projects too.
A quick update with some things to note!
1) Youth means under 40!
2) These grants will not give you start up capital – these grants are designed to help your business grow
3) ALL grant require opportunities that you own an LDA with 2 years of operations and are a major shareholder. So this means you are set up and running with audited financials from an accountant.
4) You must own land or have an official rental agreement (Comodato) so informal agreements will not help you.
5) Securing grants takes time and administration so don’t consider it easy money.
I can not write these grants for you but am happy to refer anyone to a really great team if you would like one! There are many consultants out there, so make sure you work with someone who is going to help you realize your goals and not just ask for financial support! Hello I am 15 year old Brit/German who bought a large bungalow with panoramic glass view of the mountains and duro river in figuira Castillo Rodrigo near Guarda (north Portugal) . I have a vision of making it into a creative retreat / get away for couples & aspire to bring more tourism to what is a dying population. Only problem is I don’t have any money left and it’s been standing there left for the past year . Structurally it’s all good but needs inside renovations / new bathroom & kitchen installed …. How could I go about getting a grant for renovations & set it up as a business …. I would be very greatful if someone could get in contact with me and point me in the right direction and want grant initiative would be the best one for me

Hello lovelies, we are a team working with for an organic foods production company. We are registered and operating I 5 countries in 3 continents so far. We are expanding into Portugal with the plan to utilise 150 hectares of land for organic agriculture and sustainable tourism. We have investors and an excellent team. We have already started a transformation for a 25 hectare eucalyptus plantation, into organic strawberry farm. We will be focused on rewilding and fire safety, as well as controlling further spears of invasive species. We also have plans for resorts, hotels and restaurants with community inclusive events.
