Ultimate soap making for the home! Come and learn how to make beautiful, safe, clear liquid plant derived soap base that can then be turned into a long list of chemical free body and household products that really work infused with your choice of natural aromatics. If you care about your environment and are discerning about ingredients this is the course for you. This liquid soap base will also save you lots of money as the costs are minimal.

My goal is to teach you the skills you need to successfully make beautiful handmade soap using natural ingredients such as olive oil and lovely essential oils. All this takes place in the beautiful, relaxing and supportive atmosphere of the Art Studio at our Portuguese farm – Quinta do Cobral.

 

I will provide you with everything you will need, all the ingredients, equipment and safety gear. You will learn in small groups of no more than 8 people in a clean, relaxing place with plenty of time to ask all the questions you want. I am a highly experienced soap maker and respected tutor so you can feel totally happy that you will be receiving the best tuition possible as well as having great fun learning a new skill and making new friends.

 

Soap making does not require a huge amount of complicated equipment or ingredients and is a really absorbing hobby, imagine how great it would be to be able to easily make all your Christmas and birthday gifts, soaps for your whole family, for special occasions or just for yourself. Especially as they will be totally natural, not containing any of the harsh, unfriendly chemicals of commercial soaps.

As always you will receive full written instructions so you can make more at home as well as simple ideas for storage, display and presentation.
This course is suitable for those who have already attended my cold processed natural soap making course as well as those who have never made any type of soap before.

These are hands on LIQUID SOAP courses, you will learn how to make your own natural soap and how to make it safely. You will learn a craft that has been passed down through history with trusted recipes that you can take home with you. The whole class will cover all the items below.

 

I supply all the ingredients and you will be able to choose how your soap products are fragranced and finished. You then get to take home your first batch of liquid soap base as well as a lovely range of products made using the base. EVERYONE coming on this course is amazed by the amount of things you will take home –

FOOD
A vegetarian lunch is served as a “bring and share” sit down meal. Please bring a plate of food to share or lunch can be provided by pre-booking at an additional cost of €5. Tea and coffee is available throughout the day.

COST
The course costs €75 per person to include all ingredients, use of safety equipment, full course notes, tuition, refreshments. A 50% deposit is payable on booking (I will send you a Paypal invoice), the balance is payable in cash on the day.
