Property Description

Land with about 15ha, and is situated in a village in the region of Castelo Branco, in central Portugal.

The land has 4ha of olive grove, several cork oaks, 5ha of pinewood, 3.5ha near a permanent water course and the remaining is constituted by agricultural land. It should be noted that the farm is suitable for organic farming projects.

The property is crossed along about 300m by a permanent stream, fed by a dam about 1km upstream of the property. The access is good and there is electricity all over the property. There is a borehole and a well that serve the entire property, and also a surface spring that flows throughout the year.

The house consists of the main house, chapel, schist house, support house, barbecue area with a bed for aromatic herbs, interior garden, 17m long swimming pool and a storage area to support all agricultural activity.

The main house is in a manor style, dated 1940, has 410m2 of gross construction area, composed by 6 suites, library, dining room and living room, support kitchenette and main kitchen, besides several storage spaces inside (pantries).

The house is built in stone renovated in 2015, including installation of air conditioning and central heating system.

It has a central fire and intruder alarm system. It was licensed in 2015 for the activity of Rural Tourism.

The chapel dates from 1940, built in stone, fully restored in 2014.

The schist house is a centennial construction, with 441.2m2 gross building area, possibility of expansion to tourism activity or mixed use. This house is registered with the caderneta urbana.

The swimming pool of 17x5m is in the garden, walled in schist.

There is, still, in course of approval an application to the PRR for the installation of a photovoltaic park on the property, in an investment of about 18,000 Eur +VAT.
