The historic town of Tomar is around 15 minutes drive from the property. Tomar is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo and has a variety of supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, sports centres, cinema, bowling alley and hospital. The river beach of Agroal is around 10 minutes drive from the property, which is popular during the summer months for swimming and socialising.
The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one and a half hours' by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airline, which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
