Close by are the river beaches of Praia de Roca (with wave machine) and Ana de Aviz and there is a water park at Pombal. There is a river beach under construction just 10 minutes walk from the property. The village of Maçãs De Dona Maria has all the day-to-day amenities including doctors, dentist, 2 mini-markets, cafés, bars, butchers, bakery with delivery service, post office, schools, nursery, and Sunday market. There is a golf course due to start construction in the nearby town of Alvaiázere.
